Food is essential in our daily lives.

It meets vital needs that are essential to the success of our projects: walking, talking, working, breathing.

It rhythms our days, from waking up to bedtime.

Each of our food intakes involves 3 fundamental components of our lives: physical, social and emotional.

Our breakfast gives us the fuel to start our day; our lunch is often taken with our peers, colleagues or classmates; our dinner, most often shared with family or friends, allows us to give our body and brain what it needs to sleep well.

We regularly gather around a cup of tea and cookies to discuss more personal topics with our loved ones.

However, for some people, the act of feeding becomes problematic, and these 3 dimensions are blurred.

Feeleat is aimed at all these people, whether they suffer from serious eating disorders (such as anorexia, bulimia, binge eating), serious digestive disorders (allergies, IBS, …) or simply seek to understand why, in certain contexts, eating causes them pain.

Since food is the foundation of our daily lives, enjoying food is essential to our well-being.

Feeleat will never advocate a particular feeding mode.

Whether you consume all types of food, or you are vegetarian, vegan, flexitarian,… whether you cook fresh produce or whether it is easier for you to consume industrial products, our objective is that you are at peace with the way you eat and that it provides you with an optimal quality of life, i.e. being in good health with a fulfilled social life.

To achieve this, we will always try to accompany you to understand the contexts of your life that allow you to have the most balanced diet and relationship possible.

Through advice and exercises that are simple to carry out, we will try to help you to multiply and normalize these moments.

If you suffer from serious eating or digestive disorders, it is necessary that you surround yourself with a therapeutic team to treat yourself.

Regarding eating disorders, current care proposals have failure or relapse rates showing the difficulty of curing people.

We believe that in order to receive better care, victims and their families must understand how they feel, observe and analyse their behaviour, in a factual and visual way, something that standardised protocols – often psychological and/or nutritional follow-up on an outpatient basis based on calorie counting, or supervised meal trays established in hospital – do not allow.

Through Feeleat, through key questions about your daily life, behaviours, reactions, body and emotional sensations, we want to help you become aware of your difficulties and situations that trigger your symptoms, and reconnect with your feelings.

By sharing this data with your family and your therapeutic team, you will be able to work better and fight your difficulties.

Feeleat’s objective is not to make you dependent, but to empower you, so that in the long run you no longer need to use an application to find out what is right for you.

Recording your meals, thoughts, objectives will help you to become aware of your areas of progress and reconnect with your feelings.

Using Feeleat may sometimes seem redundant to you. But it is by using it as often as possible that you will learn to free yourself from your difficulties.

We make every effort to ensure that Feeleat evolves according to your needs, your requests, and your suggestions for improvement.

Humans are working full time to ensure that this service is as appropriate as possible for each of you. Computer servers, in particular to ensure the security of each of your data, are used.

All this labour has a cost. For Feeleat to continue to exist, we must reward each actor in this adventure at its true value.

This is why some features may become fee-based, in everyone’s best interest.

These offers must be suitable for you and correspond to you. We encourage you to regularly share your expectations, needs, and suggestions for improvement with us.

We are a company based on values, where the human being is at the heart of everything we do. This means that we will always seek to make decisions that are in the best interests of our community and the well-being of our team.
